Tennis Program Updates at Chatswood Tennis Centre
Commencing from Monday 10 October 2022, Chatswood Tennis Centre will undergo some changes to the existing Hot Shots Tennis program.
Below are a list of changes that will be implemented for a better tennis experience for your child, whilst ensuring the class participants are of the same or similar standard.
More importantly the changes help to provide a pathway for players to progress through to Tennis Australia’s higher levels of Hot Shots

Blue Stage
Lessons will now be 30 minutes in duration for this age group.
All existing launch players will automatically transition to Red Ball Level 1.
Classes will remain with a maximum of 4 players.
Red Stage
Red Ball will be split into two levels - Red Ball 1 and Red Ball 2.
Classes will have a maximum of 6 players and the levels being a beginner and more advanced class.
Classes will remain 60 minutes in duration.
Orange Stage
Orange Ball will be split into two levels - Orange Ball 1 and Orange Ball 2.
Classes will have a maximum of 6 players and the levels being a beginner and more advanced class.
Classes will transition to 60 minute classes.
Green Stage
Green Ball will have a maximum of 6 players with a focus on transitioning players from Orange Ball into Green Ball.
Players will move to a full tennis court during this stage.
Classes will transition to 60 minute classes
Yellow Stage
Yellow Ball will be split into two levels - Yellow Ball and Ace Squad.
Yellow Ball focusing on beginners wanting to learn tennis and Ace Squad focusing on more advanced players.
Lessons will remain 90 minutes in duration.
Additional Changes
The above changes will take immediate effect on Monday, Wednesday & Friday.
All sessions will commence at 3.30pm of an afternoon with additional sessions (4:30pm start) offered following the initial session.
Bus Run returns will still run on a Monday, Wednesday & Friday afternoon. The return runs will now arrive back at 4:45pm and 5:45pm respectively.
