Coaching
There are adult group lessons, kids hot-shots lessons, private lessons, cardio tennis, social tennis and kids holiday camps.
- Adult Group Lessons
There are a wide variety of group lessons from beginner to advanced on every day of week. So whether you are a basic learner or just want to intermingle with other tennis players or even partake on that extra bit of coaching there is something for everybody.
The one hour group lessons cover all strokes, individual analysis, corrections, techniques, court craft and doubles and singles tactics.
- Kids Hot-Shots
Hot-Shots Tennis is a national Tennis Australia program that utilises modified courts and tennis balls to allow kids of all ages and skill level to play the game.
Children are separated into appropriate level groups and receive coaching from our team of highly qualified professionals as well as an introduction to matchplay.
The Hot-Shots program begins at Launch for the 3 / 4 year olds and each thirty minute lesson is in a progressive format. Next comes Red 5 / 8 and concentrates on more technical aspects of the game with rally and matchplay focus. The 8 / 10 yr old group is Orange and is partaken on a slightly larger court with faster balls. The most advanced class is Green which attends to matchplay coaching.
- Private Lessons
Private thirty or sixty minute lessons for both children and adults are available for any level of experience. So a beginner learning the basics to a more advanced player who needs work on individual technique to hone their skills.
These one-to-one private lessons allow the coach to assess your ability and understand your needs for future development. Chatswood offers these lessons between 7am and 8pm during the week and 7am to 6pm at weekends.
Interview Hit
If you are uncertain what your actual level or standard is then Tennis World Chatswood offer a free fifteen minute Interview. This enables you to visit the club and look at the facilities and for a coach to assess your playing standard.
